I am an integrative therapist, which means I don't work from a single fixed approach but draw thoughtfully from a range of therapeutic traditions to meet you where you are. My work is primarily informed by person-centred and psychodynamic thinking — two approaches that, together, offer both deep human warmth and genuine psychological depth.
From the person-centred tradition I bring a commitment to unconditional positive regard — the belief that you are worthy of acceptance exactly as you are, without condition or judgement. I work to create a relationship built on empathy and congruence, where you can speak freely and honestly, perhaps for the first time. The person-centred approach trusts that you are the expert on your own life, and that given the right conditions, people move naturally toward growth and greater freedom.
From psychodynamic thinking I bring an interest in what lies beneath the surface — the patterns, defences, and relational histories that shape how we experience ourselves and others, often without our awareness. This approach takes seriously the idea that our past lives inside our present, and that understanding this connection can be quietly transformative.
Together these approaches allow me to offer something that is both deeply relational and psychologically curious — therapy that holds you with warmth while also taking your inner world seriously.
I have particular experience working with borderline personality disorder, OCD, and depression, as well as a range of other mental health difficulties. I understand that these experiences can be complex, exhausting, and at times isolating — and I know that finding the right support can feel daunting. My work with personality disorder in particular has shaped my belief in the importance of consistency, safety, and a therapeutic relationship built slowly and on trust.
Whatever has brought you here, you don't need to arrive with the right words or a clear sense of what you need. Therapy with me begins simply with showing up. From there, we work it out together.
I offer online only sessions, and I welcome enquiries from anyone who is curious about whether therapy might help.
Most people come to therapy to make sense of difficult or overwhelming experiences, whether that’s low mood, anxiety, or feeling stuck in patterns that are hard to understand.
You may notice certain patterns in how you feel, think, or relate to others, even if you’re not always sure where they come from. Therapy offers a space to begin understanding these patterns more clearly.
Therapy can support you in developing a stronger, more connected sense of self, helping you feel more grounded, understood, and able to navigate your inner world with greater clarity.
